Attendance reports gym owners can act on

Wolfpack · Published

Turn attendance information into practical timetable and member-support decisions.

Choose a decision before choosing a chart

A report is useful when it answers a question you can act on. For timetable planning, compare booked places with actual attendance across comparable sessions. For member support, look for changes in someone's own pattern rather than assuming everybody should train equally often. Keep cancelled sessions and incomplete check-ins visible so missing data does not masquerade as poor attendance. Do not treat a quiet week as evidence of a person's motivation.

A practical checklist

Put it into practice

If a class appears underused, examine capacity, start time, cancellations and check-in completeness before removing it. Speak with the coach and members. Software can make the pattern visible; it cannot explain every reason behind it.
