Why a gym signup asks you to confirm your email
Email confirmation helps establish that you can access the address used for your gym account.
Complete the account step before expecting to sign in
When confirmation is required, creating an account and being ready to sign in are separate steps. Open the confirmation email sent to the address you entered and follow the link. Check junk folders if it does not appear, and make sure the address was typed correctly. Do not share confirmation links or passwords with other members. If a link fails or has expired, ask for the appropriate resend or support route.
A practical checklist
- Use an email address you can access.
- Check the sender and destination before following a link.
- Keep confirmation links private.
- Ask the gym for help if the expected message never arrives.
Put it into practice
If you signed up on one device and opened the email on another, follow the on-screen instructions and return to the correct gym page. Avoid repeatedly creating accounts while waiting for a message. Tell the team which step failed without sending your password.
